Team Roping is an exciting event to watch!

In the early days, roping was the primary method of moving cattle and pulling them to safety. Can you imagine moving a herd of cattle from Texas to Wyoming and farther West with only the ability to rope and manage the cattle from a horse?

Roping was also entertainment for the cowboys, their families and their friends.

Step back in time 150 years and come and watch the cowboys of today carry on hundreds of years of heritage and tradition.
